Toddla T - Take It Back (Dillon Francis Remix)

I uploaded a Dillon Francis track last week which was his remix of Calvin Harris' recent single "I Feel So Close." It was a fine track, but what you may not know is that Francis ascribes himself to be a member of the Moombahton genre. Most of you are probably familiar with this new sound, which sprung to life outside of Washington D.C. in late 2009. For those of you who don't here's a quick primer (provided by The Adventurous Primer):
Moombahton is Dutch electro-house music, which has been slowed down in tempo and mixed with Reggaeton to create an off-the-walls unique sound. The source of all of this craziness can be traced back to a fellow D.C. native by the name of Dave Nada. Mr. Nada and the other half of the infamous Nadastrom didn’t want to interrupt a groovy reggaeton session at a house party they were booked at, so they had to adapt. In true artist fashion, Mr. Nada decided to slow down the traditional 120-130 BPM house chunes (specifically Afrojack’s remix of Silvio Ecomo and Chuckie’s track “Moombah”) in his arsenal to a more pliable 108 BPM and BOOM: MOOMBAHTON!
Thus, I introduce Music Faze's first official Moombahton release on-site, Dillon Francis' remix of Toddla T's "Take It Back." While there are many critics of the new genre, on both sides of the fence, I suppose that should be expected, as the genre is still in its beginning steps. Take a gander below, and form your own opinion.
